Milwaukee Pagan Pride Festival
October 3rd
The Milwaukee Pagan Unity Council is holding a Pagan Pride Festival on Sunday, October 3rd, 2010. The event will be held at Wil O Way Underwood, 10602 Underwood Parkway, Wauwatosa, WI. Festivities are scheduled to be held between 12 Noon and 6 PM. Through workshops and demonstrations of traditions, Pagan Pride aims to expand understanding of the diverse practices and beliefs of Paganism. The event is open to the public and free of charge, though donations are encouraged. A food drive for Hunger Task Force will also be held at the event.
The festival will include:
o Workshops
o Rituals, including a “Sample Ritual” with explanations.
o Entertainment
o Local and regional artists and merchants selling Pagan and New Age items
o Tarot and Rune readers, and other forms of divination
o Children's area and activities
o Food
